Cooking with preschoolers

Preschool kids can get an introduction to cooking along with some familiar faces in “C is for Cooking: Recipes from the Street” by Susan McQuillan, RD.


This cookbook features the lovable characters from Sesame Street, like Cookie Monster, Elmo, Big Bird and more, as well as recipes contributed by some famous chefs like Mark Bittman, Emeril Lagasse, Jamie Oliver, Rachael Ray, Lidia Bastianich, Alton Brown, Martha Stewart and Marcus Samuelsson. The characters from Sesame Street also contribute their own recipes, like Big Bird’s Sunny Days Lemonade, Grover’s Little & Adorable Chicken Nuggets, Rosita’s Ham and Cheese Quesadillas, Cowboy Elmo’s Fastest Mac ‘n’ Cheese in the West, and because if it wasn’t there, I might cry, Cookie Monster’s Peanut Butter & Jelly Thumbprint Cookies and much mor.
