Puppy!

My kids have been pestering me for a dog for as long as I can remember. So they were thrilled when I finally gave in and they got to welcome a new puppy to our house! But the thrill began to wear off when the puppy began trying to chew on anything that came within reach (which includes little fingers.) Oh, they still like him, but are just less enthused.

I will personally be glad when the puppy stage is over - no more chewing or having "accidents" on the carpet! I maintain that the dog will not be allowed up on beds or on furniture, and everyone I tell this to laughs and tells me to wait and see.

And now I have a new reality-based television show to watch in my freetime (HA!) - The Dog Whisperer.
